- Exquisite Wine Selection: Patrons rave about the diverse and mindful wine choices. Whether you're drawn to the "currently drinking" feature or exploring unique bottles, there's always something new to savor. The spotlight shines on natural wines, including delightful Georgian orange varieties that Amanda noted as delicious.
- Chef Max's Culinary Delights: The menu, crafted by Chef Max, has been described as sensational. His ability to meld flavors is evident in every dish, from the beloved black garlic onion dip to the innovative cold noodles. Each plate invites exploration, making Brunette the perfect backdrop for culinary adventures.

Brunette makes my heart so happy. The attention to details down to the menu design (even the website!) is beyond. It’s the most romantic spot you can take yourself to or share with someone. You can never go wrong ordering the “currently drinking” from the menu (or any other wine they have mindfully selected, really) and I highly suggest ordering just about anything and everything on the menu that Chef Max makes. Truly think he’s one of the best chefs around these parts. Go take yourself out for a glass of wine plus a bite and experience the warm hug this place gives you.

My partner and I stopped in for a nightcap and the fresh baked cookie, and were so in love by the time we left! The tables are spaced out nicely so you have a bit of breathing room, and the establishment’s bathroom was warm - the first spot we found all weekend in Kingston on a winter weekend that didn’t have a chilly toilet experience. Our lovely server, Jessie, helped us both find a glass that suited our tastes. I found a new favorite natural red, it was absolutely spot-on for my palette. The cookie was a perfect portion for two with no leftovers or stomachache. We loved the time we spent there!

Brunette satisfies all of my aesthetics...atmosphere, food, drink, people. Always a new wine or dish to try with a warm, knowledgeable staff ready to help navigate the amazing menu without pretension. Soothing to the senses, this is a sweet little oasis...one of my self-care musts (I’ve learned quite a bit about wine too)!

Very cozy wine bar with excellent variety and selection with helpful tasting descriptions, didn't have a chance to try the appetizers but the skillet cookie was great!
